  Founded in 2017, H-Chip focuses on the design, development and production of micro-nano structure optical chips and laser chips, positioned upstream in optoelectronics chip manufacturing. Its core products include coining templates, nanometer waveguides, metastructures/surfaces, multilayer films, and optical quantum devices used in optical communication, virtual reality, lidar, and smart sensors. The company operates a 1,500 square meter ultra-clean laboratory and an 18,000 square meter industrialization base, and it manages innovation centers including the high-end optoelectronic chip Innovation Center in Tianjin/Tsinghua University and the micro-nano optoelectronic technology Laboratory of the Jingjinji National Center of Technology Innovation. H-Chip completed a B round financing of nearly RMB 100 million; the proceeds will mainly fund construction of optoelectronic chip industrialization projects. The first phase of that industrialization project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the second half of 2022, with an annual production capacity projected at RMB 1 billion.
