Granada is spearheading the creation of a Digital Innovation Hub that will focus on democratizing access to artificial intelligence and robotics for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Andalusia. The initiative is designed to provide technological resources, training, and advisory services that lower the barriers to adopting advanced automation and AI tools. With more than €5 million in newly secured funding, the Hub plans to build infrastructure and programs that directly support regional companies in their digital transformation journeys. European funds will co-finance a significant portion of the project, underscoring the EU’s commitment to strengthening digital capabilities in member regions. The Junta de Andalucía will join as a partner, bringing regional institutional support and potential additional resources. Although specific revenue or user metrics were not disclosed, the financing is expected to cover initial setup and early operations of the Hub. Future plans include expanding service offerings and scaling outreach to a broader base of Andalusian SMEs as the Hub gains traction.
