    Productpine operates a direct-to-consumer marketplace that enables brands to sell directly to consumers while retaining control of their brand and customer insights. The platform is designed to reduce reliance on costly advertising channels like Facebook and Google by enabling brands to share advertising costs and save up to 75%. Productpine also promotes cross-selling via a recommendation engine and refers customers through email and social channels to help brands attract new customers. The company says more than 90 international brands have joined the marketplace and over 600 brands are on the waiting list. Productpine plans to scale up its platform and onboard new brands using fresh capital. It was founded in 2019 by Camiel van Dooren, Vincent Hulshoff and Dimitar Maslarov and is based in Amsterdam.
