Predikt is an AI‑driven platform spun out of KU Leuven R&D that helps CFOs and finance teams of large companies and multinationals improve the accuracy of financial forecasts. The platform integrates internal financial processes with more than 10 million external macroeconomic indicators — including global commodity prices, consumer behaviour and inflation — to predict KPIs such as revenue, costs and profit. Predikt says this enables companies to anticipate market shifts faster and make better strategic decisions. Founded earlier this year, the startup has shown early traction with first customers, particularly in the consumer products and industrial manufacturing sectors. Predikt raised €750,000 in funding and plans to use the proceeds to further develop the platform and increase usability and marketing locally and abroad. CEO Nick Vandesype has highlighted CFOs' struggles to maintain confidence in forecasts and framed Predikt as a solution to that problem.
