Since its app launch in January 2020 it has been downloaded around 15,000 times, and the platform is being used in research including an ongoing study across nine NHS Trusts involving 300 patients. The company was founded in 2018 and is based in London. Vinehealth positions its offering as focused on life-sciences customers rather than direct procurement by healthcare services, and says it seeks separate consent for any third-party research uses of patient data. The startup plans a U.S. launch "early next year," expects to double its 18-person team over the next six months and already has its first U.S. hire locked in. Vine Health provides a mobile app and digital platform to support cancer patients during and after treatment, helping users track, understand and optimize medication-taking, symptoms and lifestyle.
