Mobiflex builds no-code software tools that let customers create iPhone and Android applications. Its core product enables mobile app creation focused on mobile capture use cases. In the reported deal Kofax invested $500,000 in the company. The transaction includes an OEM agreement granting Kofax exclusive rights to Mobiflex technology to develop, market, and deploy mobile capture applications. That arrangement is intended to allow Kofax customers to use iPhone, iPad, Android phones, and Android tablets to input documents and photographs into Kofax systems. Mobiflex is based in Boston.
