  Wave Computing develops dataflow-based architecture, systems and solutions to accelerate AI and deep learning workloads across datacenters and the edge. The company emphasizes a "follow the data" vision to bring deep learning to customers' data wherever it resides. In June 2018 Wave acquired MIPS Tech to extend its offerings into AI-enabled embedded solutions and licensable CPU IP. Led by CEO Derek Meyer and Founder/Chairman Dado Banatao, the company sells globally and operates with a team of more than 200 employees across the United States, Sri Lanka and the Philippines. Wave announced the Series E round to support worldwide growth and the evolution of its structure for strategic and commercial scale-out plans in 2019 and beyond. The fundraising news also noted total funding to date of over $200M.

  Spikes Security's core product is AirGap, a browser isolation system delivered via a specialized appliance deployed outside the firewall that creates isolated virtual machines for each web session. The appliance continuously transforms requested web content into a virtual image and streams it to a client viewer over a proprietary protocol so any malware remains isolated outside the corporate network. AirGap is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux and has been deployed in more than a dozen enterprises. The company emphasizes a gateway‑based isolation approach to avoid the complexity of endpoint isolation while maintaining a high‑quality user experience. Spikes plans to use new funding to accelerate development of its malware isolation appliances and to expand sales traction across several target market segments. The company was founded by Branden Spikes and is based in Los Gatos, California.
