Crowmie operates a platform that allows investors to buy tokenized stakes in renewable-energy projects; once installations are built the electricity is sold to the grid and investors receive returns. The startup closed a €300,000 financing round led by infrastructure group Lantania, with participation from Demium Capital. The funds are intended to finance its strategic growth plan, expand the team, and build a scalable model to offer the tool in other countries. To date Crowmie has financed three projects valued at €350,000 with participation from 100 investors. The company projects it will finance projects totaling between €3 million and €5 million this year. Lantania described Crowmie’s approach as a new way to understand and boost renewable energies.
