  Qromo, founded in 2020 by Francesco Basile, Paolo Biglioli and Matteo Denti, offers a smart solution to eliminate the traditional cash register for Ho.Re.Ca and Food Retail operators. Customers can order and pay directly from their phones by scanning a QR code, without installing an app. The platform combines a digital menu, fully digitalized ordering and payments, and a management software that handles workflows from ordering to payment through to inventory management. The company is focused on improving operational efficiency across front- and back-of-house processes. Qromo closed a second funding round in March 2024 and plans to use the proceeds to support organic growth and develop new digital solutions for the restaurant sector. The startup reported a post-round market valuation of about €8 million.
