Funxtion is a digital fitness content platform that provides gyms, hotels, wellness apps, and corporate businesses with premium and white‑labelled virtual courses, exercises, and training programmes. Its platform includes built-in customization tools and delivery device integration software to help gym owners scale personalised digital fitness experiences. The service is used by fitness operators in 27 countries and works with brands such as Fitness First Germany, GoodLife Canada, PureGym UK, and Life Fitness Group Australia. Founded in 2011 by Ernst de Neef and Mendel Witzenhausen, the company is led by CEO Ernst de Neef. The new funding will be used to boost platform development and to fuel international expansion, particularly into the U.S. Funxtion plans to invest in data science, machine learning, and AI to increase the intelligence and personalization capabilities of its platform.
