  Lassen Peak is developing a fully integrated handheld radar system that uses submillimeter-wave Terahertz imaging to identify concealed weapons for law enforcement, military, and private security personnel. The device is designed to replace traditional invasive pat-down searches, aiming to reduce use-of-force incidents and increase trust between officers and the public. The company brings together experts in ultra-high-speed wireless, imaging radar, artificial intelligence, and geo-positioning to create this solution. Its advisory board includes former leaders from the ACLU, LAPD, National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, and other public-safety bodies, underscoring its focus on both safety and civil rights. Proceeds from the current financing will fund completion of the charter product and support initial market introduction. While revenue and user figures have not yet been disclosed, management and investors position the company as a potential category-defining “unicorn.”
