- Foundation Health
Participated · Seed · Mar 2024
Founded in 2023, San Francisco-based Foundation Health offers a comprehensive software suite that unifies pharmacy workflows and patient engagement under one AI-driven platform. Its flagship tool, PAIGE AI, acts as a virtual pharmacist assistant that integrates with major EHRs such as Epic to automate refill processing, prior authorizations, benefits verification, adherence outreach, and medication onboarding. The company also delivers a white-labeled digital pharmacy front-end, a cloud-based pharmacy dashboard, and a direct-to-patient solution for manufacturers and consumer health brands. By removing up to 75% of manual pharmacist workload, Foundation Health accelerates therapy initiation and improves patient adherence while freeing clinicians for higher-value care. Early deployments at Intermountain Health and Hackensack Meridian Health have streamlined specialty pharmacy communications, payment workflows, and order fulfillment. With $26 million in total funding, the firm plans to expand its sales and operations teams and accelerate product development to meet surging demand from health systems and D2C healthcare organizations.
- Untitled Labs
Participated · Seed · Jan 2019
Untitled Labs is a "search lab" launched by Roger Dickey to rapidly test multiple consumer tech ideas across categories such as social and professional networking, mobility, personal finance, premium services, health & wellness, travel, photography, and dating. The company will experiment with a small number of prototypes and then focus the company around the most promising product to build out. Dickey says Untitled will operate very lean—no office, no logo, and a barebones approach—and is recruiting elite engineers and designers to work through prospects. Untitled is starting with $2.8 million in seed funding from early Gigster investors and angels including Founders Fund, Felicis Ventures, Caffeinated Capital, Joe Montana’s Liquid Ventures, Ashton Kutcher, Nikita Bier and Justin Waldron. Investors reportedly lined up after seeing the success of Dickey’s prior search labs (Curiosoft/Dopewars and Liquid Labs/Gigster) and his broader angel activity. The lab’s model intentionally iterates across multiple consumer ideas before committing to one, contrasting with traditional startups, accelerators, and studios.
