Cleanwatts Digital develops a cloud-based, AI-driven platform that optimizes energy consumption, manages battery storage, and orchestrates Virtual Power Plant (VPP) operations for commercial and industrial clients. The system currently manages more than 1.5 TWh of energy annually and supports over 85 customers across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia. Nearly 35,000 IoT devices are already connected to the platform, enabling real-time monitoring and flexibility services. Flagship modules include Kisense® for energy-efficiency analytics and optimization algorithms for battery storage and grid interaction. Coming off a management buyout earlier in the year, the company plans to deepen battery integration features and expand grid services functionality. Proceeds from its latest funding will also be directed toward scaling commercial operations in priority international markets and continuing R&D in AI-powered energy optimization.
