Led by CEO Robert Glaesener, the platform helps clients protect brand reputation, understand customers, and optimize marketing campaigns. It monitors and analyzes online conversations on social networks, news websites, blogs and forums in 187 languages. The company is based in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, with additional offices in the United States and Germany. Talkwalker recently received a majority investment from Marlin Equity Partners. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth in both existing and new markets. Talkwalker offers a social media analytics platform that monitors and analyzes online conversations across social networks, news sites, blogs, forums and more in over 187 languages. The platform processes large-scale data, running 1,500 servers that handle 500 million posts from 150 million websites every day. Its tools include business impact metrics, image recognition, IQ Apps and a virality map, and the product is used by over 600 clients including Microsoft, HPE and Benetton. Led by CEO Robert Glaesener, the company employs over 120 people and opened its first U.S. office in New York City in 2015. Talkwalker plans to accelerate platform development, expand its sales teams in Europe and the U.S., and further develop its artificial intelligence capabilities using the new funding.
