Cubresa is a Winnipeg, Canada-based medical imaging company developing a hand-held, MR-safe gamma camera. Led by founder and CEO James Schellenberg, the company develops patented solutions for surgical oncology, breast imaging, pre-clinical imaging, and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT). It participates in the Manitoba Technology Accelerator program. Cubresa closed $500K in funding to support growth. Backers included the Manitoba Knights, a Winnipeg-based group of angels and super angels. The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow the business and expand market opportunities.
