LVL Technologies develops proprietary sensor platforms for wearables that measure the body’s critical vital signs, including, for the first time, continuous, non-invasive hydration. The company’s second consumer product, the wrist-worn LVL One, will simultaneously measure hydration along with heart rate and other key metrics. LVL’s first product, Insight, was released in 2014 and is the world’s first non-invasive lactate threshold sensor, used by U.S. Olympic teams and endurance athletes. Founded by Dr. Dustin Freckleton and Nithin Rajan, LVL combines proprietary sensors with advanced machine learning algorithms to bring medical-device accuracy to the consumer wearables market. The company is headquartered in Austin, TX. LVL announced a $6.75M Series A and plans to use the funding to accelerate production and manufacturing of LVL One.
