eyeGauge, created in February 2020, has developed a data-collection system that captures measurements from vessels without direct digital access to equipment and machinery and links those feeds to its Unified Fleet Data Platform. The platform is positioned to optimise fleet performance by enabling ship-performance measurement, anomaly detection and extended vessel life through non-invasive digitisation of existing sensors. The company was incubated and accelerated at ZEBOX in Marseille and Le Village by CA in Paris, and currently serves maritime clients in Singapore and Europe. eyeGauge recently raised new funding that will be supplemented by public funding. The investment will be used to reinforce R&D, expand the go-to-market team, and further enhance the data collection system. Investors highlight the project’s potential to contribute to decarbonisation by enabling measurement and sharing of ship performance data.
