TissueLabs is a biotech company focused on producing synthetic tissues and organs for therapeutic applications, with a product portfolio that includes advanced 3D bioprinters, tissue-specific biomaterials, and specialized software. The company closed an $800,000 pre-seed to accelerate research and development of its proprietary technology platforms and to expand its team and partnerships. Part of the funding was specifically allocated to establish a new biofabrication hub in Bellinzona, underscoring a commitment to scale manufacturing and R&D. The Bellinzona facilities occupy the Gallera building and include two independent state-of-the-art laboratories for production and research, plus modern offices and meeting spaces. TissueLabs intends to use the hub to scale up production of its bioprinters and biomaterials and to advance development of solutions aimed at clinical applications. CEO and Founder Dr. Gabriel Liguori and CSO Dr. Tácia Liguori framed the investment and new facilities as a major step toward accelerating the company’s vision and work on new treatments.
