- Arolytics
Participated · Equity · Oct 2024
Arolytics develops environmental reporting software that helps for-profit businesses document and predict methane emissions. The company grew out of research at St. Francis Xavier University and was founded in 2018. Its product addresses rising regulatory requirements—such as new U.S. EPA rules and Canada’s methane-reduction targets—by tracking abnormal methane releases not captured by standard methodologies. Arolytics reported 250% revenue growth from 2021 to 2022. The team has grown to 27 employees, nearly double the prior year, and plans to reach about 30 with its first U.S. hire focused on business development. Management says new funding will be used primarily to scale the team and accelerate U.S. expansion, with continued emphasis on technical hires to keep pace with market demand.
