- Entry
Led · Seed · Oct 2025
Entry is a Toronto-based startup building privacy-preserving, regulator-ready infrastructure that bridges traditional financial institutions with decentralized finance (DeFi). Its core protocol combines zero-knowledge identity (zkID) technology with an explainable AI compliance engine, allowing banks, brokers, funds, and governments to transact privately while meeting global regulatory standards such as MiCA, MAS, and SEC/FATF. The network is powered by the ENT utility token, which supports zk computation, node staking, governance, and per-usage AI compliance calls. Entry’s public testnet has been live since July 2025, and the company reports a commercial pipeline of more than 20 Letters of Intent along with participation in EU and APAC regulatory sandboxes. Revenue is expected from enterprise deployments, subscription licensing, management and maintenance, and compliance-as-a-service. Collaborations with Cardano Foundation, Avalanche, Secret Network, and BitcoinOS further embed Entry within the broader blockchain ecosystem. The recent $1 million pre-seed round values the project at roughly a $25 million seed fully diluted valuation, with a projected $50 million valuation at token generation. These funds will help advance the mainnet launch and expand institutional integrations.
- Growcer
Led · Series A · Apr 2024
The Growcer builds modular vertical farming systems that enable year-round food production. Its core product is modular vertical farms deployed in retail and other settings, with traction from retailers growing leafy greens steps from the produce aisle. The company plans to expand its market reach into regions such as the northeast U.S. and to broaden its product offerings beyond leafy greens and modular structures. Growcer will leverage a $3 million investment to accelerate growth and streamline operations. Strategic partner Modern Niagara offers manufacturing capacity and building-services expertise to support purpose-built agricultural growing solutions. Founders Corey Ellis and Alida Burke retain majority ownership while returning investors Jeff York and Jeff Westeinde continue to back the company.
