Solx Holdings LLC is a domestically owned solar module manufacturer focused on supplying the U.S. market with premium N-type photovoltaic modules that support multiple cell formats. The company is constructing a state-of-the-art, intelligent assembly line in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, designed to reach up to one gigawatt of annual production capacity starting in the second quarter of 2026. The project represents a more than $60 million capital investment and is expected to generate over 200 direct manufacturing jobs on the island, in addition to roles in logistics, engineering, and distribution across Puerto Rico. Solx is integrating advanced testing protocols and quality-assurance systems that comply with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. By locating in Puerto Rico, the firm aims to leverage the territory’s skilled labor force, local tax incentives, and strategic proximity to the U.S. mainland. Management positions the venture as a critical domestic link in North America’s solar supply chain, offering developers a stable and reliable source of modules. The company’s broader mission is to enhance North American energy security through resilient, home-grown manufacturing capacity.
