Healthi operates an online booking service for affordable preventive health checkup plans covering diabetes prevention, heart disease, obesity, anemia and other conditions. The company has partnerships with healthcare chains including Apollo Clinics, SRL Labs, Express Clinics and Medall Healthcare. Founded in 2013 in Chennai by Stanford alumnus Krishna Ulagaratchagan and INSEAD alumnus Rekuram Varadharaj, Healthi focuses on combining user experience, technology and analytics to improve health outcomes. The founders say the new funds will be used to boot up applications and accelerate product and technology development. Healthi plans to roll out international pilots within the next 12 to 18 months. The company raised $3.1 million led by Montane Ventures.

Mavin Motion provides a platform that lets apps capitalize on events and trends in real time to engage audiences via campaigns that update by the hour. The platform offers tools to create a campaign for A/B testing or full deployment in under 30 minutes and a mobile wallet customized to accept preferred currencies. It includes more than 100 incentive options—promotions, vouchers, cash rebates, points/currency—and allows users to redeem points and promotions immediately in their mobile wallets. Performance reporting lets developers define campaign budgets, control costs, evaluate ROI, and optimize future campaigns. Led by co-founder and CEO Shailesh Nalawadi, the company plans to use new funding to bring the platform to new markets and expand its offerings. The company is based in Mountain View, California.
