eROCKIT AG is a German mobility company that produces electric push bikes—most notably the eROCKIT One—that combine pedal engagement with the persona and performance of a moped or light motorcycle. Its vehicles are classed as light motorcycles, requiring a licence for open-road use while offering high-speed riding and exercise benefits. The company manufactures the eROCKIT One in Hennigsdorf near Berlin and says the recent investment strengthens that production. As part of its product strategy, eROCKIT will develop an entry-level model over the next few months to serve as a platform for further international models. Financially, Indian e-mobility firm Motovolt acquired a stake by investing €1 million in eROCKIT AG and committed €10 million to build a production facility in India. Earlier investors include German footballer Max Kruse, who has also invested in the company. Management positions the technology as delivering healthy exercise, clean mobility, better urban air and reduced noise while helping achieve climate goals.
