Its product features include AP workflows, budgets, food cost analytics, purchasing and order management, and ingredient price monitoring. The company combines AP automation with operational intelligence to help restaurants and foodservice operators manage costs and purchasing. The platform is used by thousands of restaurants, caterers, foodservice operators, and accounting firms across the United States. In the last nine months xtraCHEF opened new offices in Philadelphia and Chicago and doubled the size of its team, adding hires in Sales, Product Development, Engineering, and Finance. The company plans to use the Series A proceeds to accelerate its product roadmap and recruit new talent.
