Neurimmune is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the development of immunotherapeutics for the treatment and prevention of human disorders with high unmet medical needs. With its unique Reverse Translational Medicine™ platform, Neurimmune creates recombinant human-derived monoclonal antibodies with biophysical characteristics closely resembling those occurring in healthy elderly. NovaGo Therapeutics AG develops human antibody therapeutics aimed at promoting regeneration after cerebral stroke and other central nervous system injuries. The company focuses on regenerative therapies for diseases such as stroke and spinal cord injury. NovaGo was founded in 2015 as a spin-off from the University of Zurich and is led by founder and President Prof. Martin E. Schwab and CEO Dr. Eduardo Vianna. It has a strategic partnership with Neurimmune to discover human antibodies targeting Nogo-A, leveraging Neurimmune’s Reverse Translational Medicine™ technology. NovaGo closed a CHF10m Series A and intends to use the proceeds to advance its regenerative therapeutics toward clinical trials. The financing also brings closer operational and board-level collaboration with its investors.
