  Vitcord is a Barcelona- and Valencia-based company that provides an app for users to create and publish video stories, including debates, challenges, and event coverage. The app lets users respond with a video to an influencer or add to another user's story. It is available on the App Store and Google Play. In the last 12 months the app obtained 400k active users. The company intends to use new funding to scale up, improve the product and user experience, and prepare for future growth. Vitcord is led by CEO Adrián Domenech, and the round coincided with board additions Laura Gonzalez-Estéfani and Sebastien Lefebvre. Vitcord provides a social media app that allows young people to share memories collectively, including user-driven challenges like singing or event discussions. Founded in 2014 and accelerated by NUMA Barcelona, the company is based in Barcelona, Spain. Vitcord reported more than 100,000 users who produced 739,000 videos in the latest two months. The company had a nine-person team with plans to add five members by the end of 2017. After raising €750k, Vitcord intends to use the funds to establish its presence in Spain, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, the Philippines and the United Kingdom and to hire international talent.
