AquaExchange builds hardware-enabled and software-driven products for shrimp and fish farmers, including PowerMon for power management and AquaBot for automated feed dispensing. Its platform monitors more than 80,000 acres of aquaculture ponds worldwide and is already automating over 25% of India’s shrimp-farming acreage. Beyond farm automation, the company connects growers to formal crop loans and working-capital facilities. AquaExchange operates across five Indian states and in international markets such as Ecuador, Saudi Arabia and Madagascar. For FY25, operating revenue grew 2.3× year-over-year to ₹240.51 crore, while losses widened to ₹12.71 crore; management expects to reach EBITDA profitability within the current fiscal year. Founders are Pavan Kosaraju, Hemasundar Dhavili, Kareem Mohammod and Kiran Bandi.

Tilabras Aquaculture is a Brazil-based white fish farming company focused on sustainable tilapia production. The company is vertically integrated and was founded by Nicolas Landolt. Tilabras emphasizes a planet-friendly model, feeding fish on a fully sustainable, vegan diet and minimizing CO2 footprint. It plans to expand its farming base to increase capacity and production efficiency. The group is continuing vertical integration with plans for a new processing plant and a hatchery. Tilabras recently received an investment of over €10M to support these initiatives.
