Overview
Making the solar adoption process easy... is not easy, and we are hard at work leveraging technology to help solve this.your customers get instant solar quotes for different system sizes, and multiple price options and financing rates. Beneath the surface, we use complex algorithms driven by geospatial info, weather APIs, solar irradiation data and customer electricity consumption. These tools enable your customers to make informed decisions on solar quickly.Oorjan Track'n'Share allows our customers to keep an eye on their system's performance, get notifications regarding regular maintenance, and spread the word, by sharing their savings data with friends and family. Track'n'Share is powered by an integrated tech stack including battery-efficient hardware, high-performance time-series databases, and Oorjan's iOS and Android frontends. All this solar data is fed back to our engine, thus improving our solar recommendation algorithms.

Founded in 2024 by Manhar Dixit and Vedant Taneja, Beyond Renewables & Recycling is building an eco-effective solar module recycling ecosystem for India’s rapidly expanding photovoltaic market. Its proprietary process combines advanced thermal and chemical treatments to extract aluminum, glass, silicon, copper, and precious metals with high purity, achieving material recovery rates above 95%. The startup has validated its technology at lab scale and is now commissioning its first industrial-scale facility in Rajasthan, supported by IIT Mandi Catalyst and NSRCEL. A multi-channel waste-sourcing strategy has already secured more than 2,000 metric tons of solar waste, and the company holds letters of intent from buyers for recycled outputs such as glass and silicon. Management positions the solution as a safer, higher-value alternative to the informal sector’s low-yield mechanical methods that dominate today. With India projected to generate up to 4.8 million tons of solar waste by 2040, Beyond Renewables aims to scale nationwide recycling capacity and meet upcoming regulatory and incentive tailwinds. The recent pre-seed infusion is the company’s first external capital and will fund technology optimization, supply-chain expansion, and initial commercial operations.
