ShopSe operates an instant EMI/pay-later marketplace that integrates with retailers and lenders to provide instant credit at checkout. The platform partners with banks including HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank and IIFL to underwrite and disburse loans. ShopSe has signed up 35,000 retailer partners, works with over 120 brand partners, and is present in roughly 500 locations. Since its last raise, the company’s team has grown to over 300 employees. The startup plans to use the new capital to accelerate services to an additional 150,000 retailers, expand its team and lender partnerships, and further enhance platform capabilities. Its core focus remains making affordability convenient and transparent at the point of purchase. ShopSe operates a point-of-sale lending platform that provides pay-later and instant EMI options at retail checkout. The company says it has built a digital platform with the largest credit-approved customer base in India and is used by more than 10,000 retail points today. ShopSe has established lender partnerships with leading banks and NBFCs to power financing at the time of purchase. Founders Pallav Jain, Abhishek Nimonkar, and Yagnesh Desai previously worked together at PayU. The startup plans to be present at over 200,000 retail points within 12 months and will use the new capital to strengthen its team, expand market reach, and accelerate product development.
