Taiger plans to use the new funding to continue expanding in Singapore and to broaden into greater Asia, with launches planned in South Korea and Japan, and to enter the United States and Latin America, specifically Mexico. Following the round, Taiger’s valuation will reach US$110m. Its technology combines symbolic and probabilistic AI disciplines and is built on patent-protected work in Computational Semantics, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. The company’s iMatch solution automatically extracts, validates and interprets information from documents, replicating the intelligence of a human worker. Taiger is led by CEO and founder Dr. Sinuhe Arroyo. The company intends to use the Series A proceeds to accelerate sales and R&D in Singapore and to expand its presence worldwide. Taiger is focused on serving clients in the finance, insurance and government sectors.
