CACHE develops asset-backed tokens that digitise physical precious metals; its first product, the CACHE Gold Token (CGT), launched in June 2020 and is listed on a growing list of exchanges. The company uses a GramChain asset-tracking system to provide real-time tracking data for the gold backing CGT, including vault location, purity, manufacturer and photos. CACHE says CGT has become one of the world's most liquid gold-backed tokens, with trading volume of up to $70M per month. The business was founded in 2018 by the team behind Singapore's largest precious metal dealer, Silver Bullion, and is led by founder and CEO Gregor Gregerson. CACHE is working on a silver token and says it is scaling up its precious-metal token products and market liquidity. The company recently secured external funding in a Series A round.
