HOPE Hydration develops and distributes HydroStations™, tech-enabled water refill stations that deliver free, chilled, filtered drinking water and display digital ads on 55" LED screens. Each HydroStation uses IoT capabilities to report real-time metrics—refills, plastic and CO2 saved—and to support proactive maintenance. The company partners with Pentair Water Solutions for Everpure filtration technology and places stations in airports, stadiums, city centers, and at major events and brands. Since 2023 HOPE has provided over 2 million refills and aims to reach 10 million refills by the end of the year. The business model includes OOH advertising that enables installations at no cost to venues. New funding will be deployed to expand into additional markets, scale manufacturing, accelerate product innovation, and strengthen strategic partnerships.

Aqua Membranes, based in Albuquerque, NM, produces RO membrane elements that use Printed Spacer Technology® to boost system output, extend element life, and reduce energy and operating costs. The company says its products can be swapped into existing RO systems to optimize performance without system redesign. In 2024 the company is set to more than quadruple its revenue, and customer demand is expected to increase further next year. The new capital—structured as a mix of equity and debt—will fund automated production, additional equipment, and a new manufacturing facility in Knoxville, Tennessee. Aqua Membranes also plans to expand its domestic and international team and invest in new sustainable membrane and separation product development. Aqua Membranes produces a patented Printed Spacer Technology® that applies a customized 3D‑printed resin pattern directly to flat sheet membranes, replacing conventional mesh feed spacers. The technology reduces pressure drop, increases membrane surface area in spiral‑wound elements, boosts permeate flow, and reduces membrane fouling. Its spacer integrates into existing reverse osmosis systems to improve capacity and lower capital and operating costs for desalination, food & beverage, and industrial processes. The company says the technology could significantly lower the energy requirements for purified water and cites potential CO2 mitigation benefits. Aqua Membranes is headquartered in Albuquerque, N.M. With new capital, the company plans to advance its manufacturing technology and accelerate commercialization, targeting the food & beverage and residential RO markets. The financing is intended to speed production of its energy‑saving filtration products.

Voltea Ltd. is an advanced water desalination company based in Leiden, The Netherlands. Its core product is Capacitive Deionization (CapDI) technology, which can be used in desalination processes ranging from domestic dishwashers to industrial boilers. The company is focusing on applications including water softening, cooling towers, water reuse and brackish water. A €3.6m financing will support the commercial roll-out of its CapDI technology. The round was led by Rabo Ventures with participation from existing investor Pentair, Inc.
