  • klikit

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2022

Klikit provides a SaaS platform, klikit Cloud, that aggregates orders from multiple delivery apps and channels into one dashboard and enables multi-brand menu management, historical analytics, and inclusion of orders from WhatsApp/SMS/audio. The company has official API agreements with GrabFood, foodpanda, GoFood and UberEats, and differentiates from legacy POS systems by supporting multi-brand and multi-location operations on a single device. Since launching seven months ago, klikit has serviced more than $2.8 million in orders across 150 brands in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan and Australia, and counts customers such as Bistro Group, Flash Coffee, MadEats and Just Kitchen. Founded in 2021 by Christopher Withers, the startup exited stealth with $2 million in pre-seed funding and hired 30 people across six countries during stealth. Klikit is pursuing regional expansion, plans to add more features by building out its engineering team, and is developing virtual brand partnerships with creators (working with creators with a combined 38 million following to launch creator drops). The company positions itself against competitors like Deliverect and NextBite by focusing on cementing API partnerships with major delivery apps and solving what it calls “tablet hell.”

  • Ruth Health

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2022

Ruth Health is a telehealth and comprehensive care platform built by women to deliver remote prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum support. Its core services include pelvic floor training and recovery, lactation counseling, C-section recovery, intimacy and sexual support, and on-demand exercise sessions provided by licensed practitioners. The company collects conversational data and biometric readings to build a large maternal health database intended to improve outcomes. Ruth Health positions its platform as an extension of patients’ existing primary care physicians and OBGYNs rather than a replacement, aiming to address gaps in American pregnancy care and rising maternal mortality rates. The company cites that 83% of women experience pelvic floor prolapse post-pregnancy and 92% face breastfeeding challenges—issues its services target. Ruth Health is female-founded, led by Alison Greenberg and Audrey Wu, and is based in New York City and Los Angeles.

  • The Expert

    Participated · Series A · Mar 2022

The Expert launched in 2021 to let anyone book one-hour video consultations with top interior designers. It began with 60 designers and now has over 140 designers advising thousands of clients across 50 countries, with more than 1,500 designers on the waitlist. Many experts average 147,000 Instagram followers, which drove 85% of the company’s organic traffic in 2021 and helped produce 35% repeat transactions. The company generated over $5 million in revenue in its first 12 months, and found that over 45% of clients had furnishing budgets above $50,000 (33% above $100,000). Buoyed by a $12 million Series A, The Expert is expanding into e-commerce with a Showroom launching this summer featuring over 60 home brands, and plans to test a "The Expert Vintage" site. The company will not warehouse goods and will use a drop-ship model, and it plans to deploy the new funds into hiring, technology development and marketing while roughly doubling headcount by year-end. The Expert provides a marketplace for 1:1 video consultations with leading interior designers, using the Zoom API and designer profiles where clients can book, view rates, and upload floor plans and inspiration. The platform currently features 85 designers and reports a 700-designer waitlist, targeting a high-end clientele willing to pay $300–$2,500 per hour. The company takes a 20% commission on transactions and says it will hit $1 million of bookings after its first quarter following an early February launch. Founders Jake Arnold, a celebrity interior designer, and Leo Seigal, a YC alumnus and serial founder, built the product after demand surged during pandemic lockdowns. The Expert positions itself above competitors like Modsy and Havenly by focusing on top-tier designers and a premium experience. The product aims to broaden designers’ reach and monetization by enabling remote consultations and streamlined booking and review flows.
