Recycle Track Systems (RTS) builds AI-driven waste and recycling management solutions centered on its Pello sensor, which provides real-time insights into container contents, fill levels, contamination, bin location, and temperature. The company also offers an intuitive dashboard, the Cycle reverse vending rewards program, and full-service waste and recycling operations for businesses and municipalities. RTS says its technology enables optimized hauling, automated pickups, and accurate ESG tracking to drive waste diversion and efficiency. The company has secured a ten-year contract in New York City as one of five city-wide containerized services awardees and a zone awardee for three commercial waste zones, partnering with local haulers Winters Bros., City Waste Services of New York, and Regency Recycling. RTS plans to expand its footprint across the United States and Canada and accelerate investments in AI and automation. The company raised over $40 million in recent financing to fund the next wave of product deployment and expansion. Headquartered in New York, Recycle Track Systems combines technology with service to make waste disposal smart and responsible. Led by cofounder and CEO Gregory Lettieri, RTS offers everything from on-demand removal to fully integrated waste management solutions that allow companies and municipalities to track and optimize their pickups. Its system uses data insight to give clients visibility into their waste habits and tangible figures on their climate impact to improve waste and recycling practices. The company is a certified B-Corporation and currently serves more than 150,000 residents and 2,000 businesses across the country. RTS raised $35M in a Series C and intends to use the funds to expand its business reach. Recycle Track Systems operates a waste and recycling management technology platform that provides real-time accountability and transparency for daily waste removal. The platform supports on-demand pickups as well as recycling and composting options and emphasizes efficient routing, training and on-demand orders. RTS works with prominent customers including Whole Foods, WeWork, Juice Press and the Natural Resources Defense Council. Founded in 2015 and based in New York City, the company focuses on sustainability and streamlining waste removal services for enterprise clients. RTS raised $11.7M and plans to use the funds to continue to expand and implement its waste management technology solutions throughout the Northeast. The company’s product and client list position it to scale regional deployments of its platform.
