Novamigra Therapeutics is an innovative pharmaceutical company spun out of VRG Therapeutics and focused on developing next-generation preventive treatments for migraine. Its lead compound, VRG-145, is aimed at patients who fail to respond adequately to existing options such as antiepileptics, beta-blockers, antidepressants, calcium-channel blockers, and CGRP-targeting drugs. Over the past year the company has aligned its clinical strategy with both the U.S. FDA and Hungary’s NNGYK, finalized the design of a 36-volunteer Phase 1 pharmacokinetic and safety study, and completed key CMC pre-formulation work. Novamigra has also reinforced its intellectual-property position with patents published by the EPO and USPTO and an additional priority filing in the United States. To date, the company has raised roughly €5 million, including about €2 million in non-dilutive grants from Hungary’s NKFIH and the newly secured ~€3 million financing round. Management is actively exploring strategic co-development and commercialization partnerships with European pharmaceutical companies as VRG-145 moves toward first-in-human testing.

Founded in 2022 by Roswitha Verwer, YON E Health is a Dutch FemTech startup building what it describes as the first continuous, at-home vaginal health sensor. The device simultaneously tracks pH and basal body temperature, two biomarkers that indicate fertility windows, microbiome balance, and infection risk. By turning these readings into actionable data, the company aims to shift care from reactive paper-strip testing to proactive, real-time monitoring for women and clinicians. The multidisciplinary team operates across Amsterdam, Budapest, London, Texas, Boston, and Madrid, reflecting its global ambitions. Current priorities include completing product development and initiating medical trials to validate the sensor’s clinical utility. No revenue or user numbers have been disclosed, as the product is still pre-commercial. The company positions itself within a growing European FemTech market that is increasingly focused on combining clinical-grade data with consumer-friendly hardware.
