Stimunity is an early-stage research and development company focused on developing STING agonists in cancer. Its lead product is a biologic enhancer of the STING pathway designed to activate the innate immune system and enhance T-cell responses against tumors with low immunogenicity. The technology, licensed from Institut Curie, Inserm and the University of Oxford, uses a virus‑like particle (VLP) approach to encapsulate endogenous STING‑activating molecules. The company is led by co‑founders Nicolas Manel, PhD (co‑inventor) and Sylvain Carlioz (CEO). Stimunity is based in Paris, France and is pursuing preclinical development of its lead candidate. The company is to receive funding to support these preclinical efforts.
