Lucid Commerce provides measurement that links TV ads to subsequent online purchasing behavior, telling large brand advertisers whether campaigns are reaching the right people. Its core product monitors online purchasing after TV ads air to assess campaign resonance across broadcasts and programs. The company argues that even small percentage improvements in TV campaign performance can save advertisers millions and sees a continuing multi‑billion dollar opportunity in TV ad spend. Lucid employs about 15 people and is led by founder Tyson Roberts; it was founded in 2005. As part of an aggressive rollout enabled by the recent financing, Lucid plans to open a New York office. The company has raised about $17 million in total to date.
