  ARC Clean Energy (also referred to as ARC Clean Technology) is a U.S.–based clean-energy firm with additional offices in Canada that is engineering the ARC-100, an advanced sodium-cooled fast reactor designed to generate 100 MWe of reliable, zero-emission electricity. The modular reactor targets applications ranging from electric grids to heavy industrial facilities and hyperscale AI data centers. ARC participates in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program, which aims to accelerate small modular reactor deployment, and it has a global distribution agreement with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP). Strategic engineering partner Hatch has worked with ARC since 2022 to advance Canadian project development.   Zenabis (a brand of International Herbs Medical Marijuana Ltd) develops and plans to produce pharmaceutical‑grade medical marijuana through large‑scale indoor cultivation. The company is refurbishing the former Atlantic Yarn Mill in Atholville, New Brunswick into a 396,000 sq ft facility on a 20‑acre site, targeting operational status by 2017. Zenabis is at the pre‑license inspection stage under Health Canada’s ACMPR and expects to pursue a cultivation license followed by a license to sell. The construction phase is a $14 million project; Zenabis has secured $4 million from the New Brunswick provincial government (loan) and $3 million from the Listuguj First Nation Government to aid that work. Zenabis projects about 300 construction jobs in phase one and more than 200 full‑time jobs when operational, and estimates a $15 million annual contribution to the province’s GDP. The company highlights strengths in start‑up experience, the pharmaceutical industry, distribution, and horticulture and aims to deliver high‑quality products at competitive prices.
