Formerly known as Brera Holdings (Nasdaq: BREA), Solmate is pivoting from its sports-club roots into a Solana-centric digital asset treasury and infrastructure provider. Under the leadership of new CEO Marco Santori, the firm plans to deploy bare-metal servers in Abu Dhabi to run high-performance Solana validators, aiming for superior staking yields while accelerating regional blockchain adoption. The company will continue managing Brera’s football assets, but its primary focus is now on accumulating and staking SOL and offering institutional-grade infrastructure. Strategic alignment with the Solana Foundation includes granting the foundation two board seats, underscoring close technical collaboration. New board members also include renowned economist Dr. Arthur Laffer and RockawayX CEO Viktor Fischer. With a dual stock listing in the works and substantial new capital, Solmate intends to position itself as a key enabler of the UAE’s digital-transformation agenda within the Solana ecosystem.
