  • Debite

    Participated · Seed · May 2022

Debite provides a Buy Now Pay Later-style financing platform and two primary products: Save & Spend Loans and the Boosted Debite Card, aimed at helping early-stage companies manage large business costs and smooth cashflow. Save & Spend Loans offer instant access to £5,000–£50,000 with interest rates starting at 1.40% per month, while the Boosted Debite Card provides dynamic credit limits—typically up to 20x higher than traditional lenders—with 0% interest if paid within 30 days. The platform requires no personal guarantees, makes lending decisions within 24 hours, and customers can track and adjust repayment plans via an online portal. Debite says its proprietary technology underpins quick applications and flexible repayment terms, targeting expenses like subscriptions, marketing, and inventory. The company reports over 100 companies on its pre-launch waiting list requesting access to more than £1m of potential credit and plans to expand hiring across sales, finance, risk, technology, and marketing. Debite’s long-term ambition is to become a comprehensive banking and financial management solution for underserved early-stage businesses.
