MobiWise is a Belarusian startup that provides a platform to launch and promote educational content by rapidly deploying branded mobile apps. The team says it can roll out a branded app and set up monetization through advertising and subscriptions within two weeks. Subscribers access exclusive content in multiple formats including video courses, audio podcasts, texts and tests. MobiWise earns a commission on the revenues of apps launched on MobiWise.io. The startup raised $200,000 on convertible-loan terms from participants of the Belarusian angel network Angels Band. The company plans to use the funds to develop several areas of the product and to expand into the US and Western Europe. MobiWise is a platform for launching and promoting educational and creator-led mobile applications, targeting influencers, bloggers, trainers and experts. The team builds branded apps in about two weeks and sets up monetization via advertising and subscriptions, taking a commission on app revenue. Subscribers get exclusive content in formats such as video courses, podcasts, texts and tests. Several MobiWise-based educational apps are already live on the App Store and Google Play, including the pregnancy-focused project "Mama PRO" built with practicing physicians. Cofounders Pavel Gordon and Nikita Abrosimov say the platform focuses on lowering the barrier to entry so creators can concentrate on content while MobiWise handles growth and funnel optimization. The startup plans to use the new funding to attract content creators across the CIS, Europe and the Americas and to develop existing applications.
