Aegis Energy is building multi-energy recharging and refuelling sites that support electric, HVO, hydrogen, and bio‑CNG for commercial vehicle fleets. The company plans an initial five‑station network to be completed by the end of 2027 with sites in Sheffield, Immingham, Warrington, Corby, and Towcester. Construction on the first station begins this year and is scheduled to open in early 2026. By the end of the decade Aegis aims to expand to a network of up to 30 hubs, with each hub able to charge/fuel about 40+ heavy goods vehicles and 25+ vans simultaneously. After ramping up, an average Aegis site is expected to reduce carbon‑equivalent emissions by approximately 14,300 tons annually. Aegis is actively seeking partnerships with fleet operators to support the transition driven by UK regulatory pressure to decarbonize transport.
