Jasper is an Auckland, New Zealand–based proptech company providing access to commercial real estate investment opportunities. Its platform enables investors to purchase fractional ownership in high-quality commercial properties using digitized onboarding, accreditation and subscription processes. The company plans to offer a secondary market to allow investors to sell their equity, providing liquidity in a traditionally illiquid asset class. Jasper raised $2.3M in seed funding led by M7 Real Estate, with participation from Icehouse Ventures, James Property Group and RCP. The funds will be used to increase engineering capacity, grow the acquisitions team and accelerate licensing applications in multiple territories prior to launch. Jasper is launching in New Zealand and Australia this year, with expansion planned for Asia-Pacific, Europe and the US within the next three years; founders are Mark Hurley, Mark Campbell and Oliver Shaw.
