Sensesemi designs single-chip edge-AI processors that combine AI inferencing, wireless mesh connectivity and precision analogue sensing to deliver real-time, on-device intelligence with minimal power draw. By vertically integrating compute, connectivity and sensing, the company aims to cut system complexity, size and cost while extending battery life for mission-critical applications such as predictive maintenance, driver monitoring, cardiac monitoring and smart drug delivery. It is also building an analogue-domain AI inference processor to push power consumption even lower for battery-operated and implantable devices. The startup plans to use freshly raised capital to complete chip tape-outs, build reference designs and expand its engineering team. Partnerships with device makers are being pursued to accelerate commercial adoption. Management believes rising demand for edge computing and India’s expanding semiconductor market position the company well for growth. The firm has not yet disclosed revenue or shipment figures, but cites forecasts of 5–7 billion annual edge-AI chip shipments globally by 2030.
