Suvidhaa Infoserve is a retail services aggregator providing air, railway and bus ticketing, mobile recharges, insurance and utility bill payments, loan origination, hotel packages, movie ticketing and other services. Founded in 2007 and based in Mumbai, the company distributes services through more than 25,000 'Suvidhaa Points' across 20 states and roughly 500 cities and towns, having scaled from about 1,300 outlets to over 25,000 in less than two years. The government has allowed the company to set up around 70,000 community service centres across 420,000 villages. Management plans to expand the Suvidhaa Points network to 100,000 points in the next two years. The company intends to use new funding to add more services to its platform and expand consumer reach, including exploring channels such as telcos, banks and B2C mobile and web offerings. Company statements highlight rapid growth and "solid revenues" supporting regional employment and capital infusion into the service sector. Suvidhaa Infoserve runs a Services Commerce (S‑commerce) platform that lets customers walk into neighbourhood kirana/convenience stores to perform services such as railway ticketing, mobile recharge, air ticketing, insurance payment, bill payment, bus ticketing, loan origination and movie ticketing. The company currently powers more than 4,000 local kirana stores across 15 states and over 100 cities. Suvidhaa plans to expand its network to 20,000 franchisee outlets across the country by 2009. Promoted by Paresh Rajde, the company said it will use new capital to aggressively expand its portfolio of service offerings and to enhance business development and marketing efforts. The press release did not disclose revenue or other financial metrics.
