Overview
We created riidl in 2010 to facilitate 38000 students and 1800 faculty of the Somaiya campus. riidl comprises of 4 major activities: Technology Business Incubator: Our TBI is supported by Somaiya Vidyavihar and Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Skill Development: FABLAB (https://www.fablabs.io/riidl) and Do it yourself Biology Lab (http://bioriidl.org/). Maker Mela (www.makermela.com): Maker Mela had 50000+ visitors and 100 makers from across India. On Jan 13-15, 2017 we are doing the FAN3 (Fablab Asia network) event and Maker Mela together in Mumbai. Research groups: We have filed 16 patents and are doing research in Microbio, drug discovery (initiating), AI and Machine learning.

Offee is a Mumbai-based edtech platform founded by Amit Shah that enables educational institutions to administer exams digitally without an internet connection or a computer lab. Its technology is designed to provide simple, equitable exam administration and to create safe, long-lasting testing environments. Top-tier Indian universities have already embraced the feature. Institutions using Offee include Jai Hind College, Somaiya University, KRCL, KES Shroff College, JBIMS, and more than 80 Zilla Parishad Schools. Investors JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation (JIIF) Investors, the Bombay Industry Association (BIA), and Riidl contributed a total of Rs 5.25 crore to the company. Offee plans to use the funds to improve product development, grow the company, and enter new markets.

Serri offers SerriOS, an AI-powered insights and outreach platform that uses chatbots and multi-platform dashboards to help brands engage communities on WhatsApp, Discord and integrate with business tools like CRM. The company says it supports more than 250 communities and has over half a million members on its waitlist. It is running three paid pilot projects with D2C Insider, Truxport, and Antler-backed Unsnarl. Serri plans to use new funding to accelerate its product roadmap and expand into the USA and Southeast Asian markets. The startup is hiring engineering talent to grow the team. Founded in 2022, Serri recently won the Eureka business model competition organized by IIT Bombay.
