Risky Business was established to support promising early stage startups with the resources to grow into regional and global sustainable tech firms. Bringing together some of the most prominent business people in the region, they provide more than financing. In addition to intensive and high-quality consulting services focused on product development, scaling and strategy, they also offer financial investment. It is the first structure in Romania targeted towards pre-seed support and an innovative step forward in supporting the growth and sustainability of the Romanian startup ecosystem.

Ebriza provides a virtual cash-register (casa de marcat) delivered as a SaaS product compatible with any device and immediately accessible without installation fees. The product supports integration with wireless fiscal printers so merchants can operate with a tablet and printer while complying with regulations. Ebriza has been tested in locations in Cluj‑Napoca, Bucharest and Constanța and targets cafés, restaurants and small shops to reduce operating costs compared with expensive traditional POS and cash-register solutions. The team plans to focus on integrations with delivery platforms, suppliers and accounting systems and on improving the user experience and real‑time multi‑platform access. Merchants can try the service immediately and pay an affordable monthly subscription tiered by usage. Co-founder Alexandru Mareș is quoted describing those integration and usability priorities.
