Camion plans to use EUR2.7M in Pre‑Seed funding to grow its engineering, machine learning, and data science teams and to further expand its platform. Tradico AG is a Munich-based online finetrader that provides finetrading financing solutions and short-term working capital to medium-sized enterprises across Europe, with a major focus on the German-speaking market. Customers apply via a short form on www.tradi.co and Tradico can grant purchase limits immediately, funding purchases up to €20k within 30 seconds and processing checks for larger amounts up to €1.5m in about 48 hours. The company targets enterprises seeking funding for goods or sales outside banks without having to deposit bank securities. Founded in 2014 and led by CEO Manuel Hehle, Tradico operates Europe-wide and plans to expand its customer base first into the Benelux countries. Revenues rose to €22m in 2016. The newly raised capital is intended to support that geographic expansion.
