American Growth Insurance acquires smaller, independent insurance agencies and reworks their operations around an AI-first operating system to automate administrative, policy servicing, and back-office tasks while keeping client-facing teams human. The company has completed its first acquisition and spent the prior year working with 10 partner agencies to build and test its operating system. AGI aims to convert acquired firms into AI-native brokerages so they can serve larger books of business without proportionally increasing licensed agents or support staff. Management plans to deploy the new $70 million committed equity raise mainly for additional acquisitions and operational rebuilds. The company is targeting $10 million in annual revenue by the end of the year. CEO Brian Morgan brings over 30 years of brokerage experience from roles at Keystone Agency Partners, Integro, The Plexus Groupe, Willis, and Marsh.

Ready Financial Group, Inc. provides financial products including the READYdebit Visa prepaid card and online bill payment and check writing service. Its core offerings combine a prepaid Visa card with online bill-pay and check-writing capabilities. The company received a $7m capital investment. The investment was made by Detroit-based Rockbridge Growth Equity and Boston-based Flybridge Capital Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Rockbridge Growth Equity will be represented by two seats on Ready Financial’s Board of Directors and Jeff Bussgang of Flybridge will join the Board.
