Moleculent develops a functional profiling platform based on a proprietary Proximity Ligation Assay that detects cell–cell interactions in intact tissue at high-plex while enabling cell typing through protein detection. The company is developing an automated instrument to enable large-scale, reproducible studies with minimal hands-on time and plans a commercial launch of that instrument. Moleculent operates an Early Access program called Techstart, which provides select academic and biopharma partners priority access and is being expanded in response to demand. Management cited surging interest from leading research institutions and pharmaceutical partners across Europe and the US. The company is headquartered in Stockholm and is backed by specialist life sciences investors including ARCH Venture Partners, Rubicon Healthcare Partners, and Eir Ventures. Recent financing will fund the Techstart expansion, US commercial acceleration, and the instrument’s commercial roll-out.
